    Help support MPOWER THEATER GROUP by joining us at Hamburger Mary's located at 2130 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View on Thursday, May 26th at 7:30pm for some good 'ol fashioned drag-queen bingo! We need at least 30 people to confirm to play Bingo. So our goal is 500! Come out and compete for you chance to win with 10 games of bingo so you have 10 chances to win some fabulous prizes! We are raising money to bring more community productions to Milwaukee. **New Rules** There is no minimum or maxium donation to play HAMBINGO and 100% of the proceeds benefit MPower Theater Group.     In light of the police shootings of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and John Crawford III in Beavercreek, Ohio, among others, The New Black Fest commissioned 7 emerging black playwrights to write 10-15 monologues that explore their feelings about the well-being of black in a culture of institutional profiling.

    Butterfly Confessions, a stage-play, is a love letter to women of color that reveals heartfelt emotions about intimacy, sexual responsibility and overcoming adversity. The play blends humor and heartbreak with education, empowerment and inspiration while bringing awareness to domestic violence and HIV/AIDS. Butterfly Confessions was created and conceived by Yetta Young but was a collective effort with (12) contributors. #ButterflyConfessions
